This is an 10"x8" original gouache painting on Arches Coldpress Watercolor Paper.
This was an origami butterfly made from a beautiful paper that had a greenish tint and these powerful red waves. There is gold paint swirling on the whole design, so the look will change depending on the lighting. I wanted this to symbolize strength, change, and the feeling of rising up.
