This is an original gouache painting on 20"x16" Arches coldpress watercolor paper.
It was golden hour in Yosemite National Park, and the light was moving quickly across the rockface. I scrambled to get out there and set up. Since it was winter, there was a beautiful pile of snow at the bottom of the falls, and the bare trees looked stunning in the light.
