This 16x20 original gouache painting is on an archival Arches coldpress Watercolor paper.
It was a breezy and sunny day, which made it both a delight and a pain to paint these bright stargazer lilies. Their colors were extra pure and beautiful, but the wind caused them to constantly shift positions. I loved their organic nature, and beautiful whites and pinks though, so it was well worth it!
